I make organic jam, jelly, lemon curd and chutney in the Burgundian village st Racho, on the Dun Mountain. Fascinated by medicinal plants, flowers and organic gardening in general, my production comes from local gardens and growers, with a spice here or there. My star product is of course orange marmalade, a family tradition as in many British households.

To each season its jams. That's why I prepare different recipes for you according to the season.

Dine in a yurt!

You can now have dinner in our yurt in St Racho.
It is a "Libertente" yurt that we made in Lubéron; it is heated by a wood stove. The table can welcome 4 guests, in addition to ourselves. Christophe will cook organic products from our garden.
25 euros per guest.

Cours de cuisine

Christophe Rocourt now gives cookery lessons in Les Gauthiers, st Racho, on Thursday mornings, from 9am till noon, followed by lunch.

Lessons take place on Thursdays, 9am to 12am, and are followed by a friendly lunch.
Price 40 euros per session, limited to 4 students.
Lunch reservations also possible 3 days beforehand. Price 15 euros starter, main and desert + wine and coffee.
Gift vouchers available for a cookery lesson or a meal.

Christophe trained as a chef in the French Alps, before travelling Europe and the USA to perfect his culinary skills.

After some years as Head chef of a Lyon restaurant, he set up his own restaurant in Lyon Croix Rousse, and was successful promoting creative cooking using only seasonal produce.

We use fresh, local produce, organic where possible, in our cooking classes. The chef is passionate about herbs, vegetables, edible flowers and mushrooms, growing many of these in his own garden.
